Visit Positano

Positano is the most popular town along the Amalfi Coast. A village of white moorish-type house clinging drammatically to slopes around a small sheltered bay.

John steinbeck said when he first visited positano in 1952. ‘‘Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you are gone.

It's house climb a hill so step it would be a cliff except that stairs are cut in it. The small curing bay of unbelievably blue and green laps gently on a beach os small pebbles’’.

Nowdays, Positano is the number-one attraction on the coast, with hotels for every budget, charming restaurants, and dozens of boutiques.

Our suggestion  for a special trip car in Positano: go up the hill of Montepertuso and reach the little town of Nocelle where you can have a spectacular view of Amalfi Coast and Capri Island.
